CLOIR CLENZ for Metal cleaning
Pickling & Metal Cleaning:
- Removes rust, oxides, and scale from metals before plating or painting.
- Used in steel manufacturing and galvanization.
Dosage for Different Metals
- Steel & Iron: 20–40% (often used along with HCl or H₂SO₄)
- Copper & Brass: 30–45%
- Aluminum & Zinc: 15–25% (mild solution to prevent over-etching)
- Temperature: 50–70°C for faster pickling
- Pickling Time: 5–30 minutes, depending on scale thickness

CLOIR CLENZ for gold refining
Coagulant in Metal Recovery & Gold Refining:
- Helps precipitate gold, silver, and other metals from solutions in mining.
Dosage for Metal Recovery & Gold Refining
A. Metal Precipitation (Iron, Copper, Zinc, Nickel, etc.)
- Dosage: 5–20% solution (added to metal-laden waste streams)
- Purpose: Ferric ions react with heavy metals, forming insoluble hydroxides that can be filtered out.
B. Gold Recovery (Removing Base Metals & Impurities)
- Dosage: 10–25% solution
- Purpose: Helps remove copper, lead, and other base metals before refining gold with aqua regia or cyanide leaching.
C. Electronic Waste & Gold Plating Stripping
- Dosage: 15–30% solution
- Purpose: Dissolves base metals, leaving behind gold for further recovery.

CLOIR CLENZ Blackening of steel
Blackening of Steel & Iron (Patination):
- Produces a dark, corrosion-resistant layer on metal surfaces.
Dosage for Blackening Steel & Iron
- Light blackening: 5–10% FeCl₃ solution (for mild surface coloration)
- Deep black patina: 15–25% FeCl₃ solution (for darker, more durable finishes)
- Immersion time: 5–30 minutes, depending on the desired effect
- Temperature: Room temperature or heated to 50–70°C for faster results
- Optional additives:
- Nitric acid (HNO₃) – Enhances oxidation for deeper blackening
- Copper sulfate (CuSO₄) – Helps form a more uniform black patina
- Tannic acid – Seals the blackened surface for improved durability

Electrolyte for Electroplating:
